Howdy y'all. I know it has been forever. I said I was back before but then I wasn't. Sorry for the misinformation. I'm giving it another go since I feel God wants me to. I'd like to play catch up on some things that have affected my life, either personally or through a friend. At least ones which come to mind.

Firstly, let none of us forget Joplin, Missouri! It is old news now I know; we westerners forget things quickly at times. At 5:45 on the Sunday night of May 22nd, 2011 they were hit by the deadliest Tornado of 61 years of modern science recorded disasters. The 3/4th mile wide Twister blew a path of 6 miles through the heart of the city and one and a half blocks from one of my best friend's home. The EF-4, or some say F5, ranked storm killed 116 people, but that is just the start of the lives destroyed.

Keep the survivors in your prayers.

Secondly, everyone should remember that tornados were running rampant that week and weekend. My city too was hit by an EF-2 strength tornado at 4:30 P.M. on the same day Joplin was. I am the same time zone, so that puts ours at approximately 1:15 minutes beforehand. It was on the ground for about 4 minutes and cut a path 2.3 miles long through the city. More than 200 homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed, but none were killed. Not even any serious injuries, so God was on our side. Especially considering it was only known to be a twister after it had struck.

It missed my home by my guess of 12 blocks, and I watched it go by unawares through our kitchen window. Yes the sirens went off, but only due to it being a strong storm, and no one took it too seriously. As you can tell I wasn't in the basement. Just 3 days earlier we had a storm blow through with golf ball size hail, which damaged roofs throughout the city, and people took souvenirs. I'm sure there are still freezers holding a piece of hail. We'd had strong storms also for the weeks before that. We were used to it, and sirens, and nothing had ever been a serious threat to human life. So we were immune to the danger that passed that day, and even the weathermen didn't predict a tornado.

All that to remind you of the hundreds of other lesser known, or unknown, impacted cities on and around May 22. Keep us all in your prayers as well. Thank you.

Thirdly I wanted to simply tell how disgusted I am with the hatred going on here in Wisconsin. You might have heard wind of it. Our Capitol was stormed by hundreds of teachers because our Governor wanted to take bartering rights away, as part of his budget cutback. They swarmed inside, not letting people move from their offices anywhere, not even to the bathroom. As a result our government was halted for days as people simply could not get their jobs done. Not to mention thousands of schools were teacher-less.

To help that along, to avoid voting on the proposed new budget, the Democratic Senators fled to out of state. This was an illegal act, taking leave without warning, and then going out of state while on the job. Not to mention cowardly. They were gone for about 3 full weeks, stopping any progress we could hope to achieve in the crisis. They are back again, but, were people upset at them? No, they had a welcoming crowd to greet them, and many had sent them money to live on as they were away. It was collected by phone even!

Now the Democrats are trying to recall our Republican Governor and many of the Republican Senators. I have never seen such dirty politics in my life. This is unfair fighting, not even civil. And I know there are Democrats out there who will hate me for these comments, but they may only prove my point at how they can be. It is not hard to see who is in the right. The same ones who are pro-life, pro-Biblical marriage, pro-freedom, pro-health, and pro-family: Republicans. I learned in school about how Democrats and Republicans started, and Democrats were wrong from the start, by being pro-slavery and anti-America (Civil War).

And I have said enough I think this time, I am ashamed to call myself a Wisconsinite. May God help us all in these perilous times!

AMERICA BLESS GOD!

The problem is that in today's society, being pro-life or anti-gay marriage is evil. It's interesting, homos used to have to keep their lifestyle hidden or they'd be put down, but now we have to keep our "homophobia" hidden, or we'll be put down.

I don't know if you know about the show or not, but gay rights' people are trying to get Sesame Street to make their characters Bert and Ernie be gay, and show them getting married. This is a show for freaking 6 year olds! And they're not even gay...they're just like brothers/best friends/roommates. I remember seeing them when I was little, and each had their own bed---if they were lovers, they'd sleep in the same bed, duh! *sigh* The producers did say no to the groups' request, but I just wonder if that is the end of it or they will keep trying. >_<
