Hey all! A friend of mine recently lost a pet cat; you can read about it in her journal entry psalmseven.deviantart.com/jour… (Unexpected Loss). As a result, I have decided to post the lyrics to a song which is close to my heart, yet deals with this very topic.
According to the lyrics, the song is a true-story, but I can’t say Yea or Nay to that. I have no proof either way. Also as the song states, whether you believe this or not is up to you. I personally think it is off in its interpretation by just a smidgen, but that it very well could be true. I’ll explain after the song.
Do note beforehand, I have transcribed this 9 minute song myself. I cannot find the lyrics online. If you can, great! Let me know where you got them because I have guessed at a few words and couldn’t understand others. Therefore there are blank spots where I knowingly missed lyrics and possibly other spots where I have misinterpreted what is said. I did my very best considering the singer is not very loud or clear at times.
So please do not jump on me if I erred, I have admitted my fault already. Just help me out where necessary. Thanks!
EDIT: I enlisted the help of my Mom and she thinks I have all the lyrics correct and she helped me fill in the blank spots (italics)! So, here are the complete lyrics!!!

This is a story I heard in my travels
All of the lyrics are perfectly true.
I stand in wonder each time that I sing them,
But where you’re left standing will be up to you.
Alana was twelve and she prayed to The Lord
He would find her the horse of her life.
Her mom bought her Warrior, black with a diamond,
His back tall as her head was high!
She’d go to his pasture and call out his name,
He’d whinny his answer and to her he’d race.
She’d throw her arms up round his powerful neck,
And he’d lower his head in an equine embrace.
She’d bolt and run from him, He’d chase her bucking,
Then she would chase him, off he’d fly!
She took up upon him no bridle or saddle,
The wind in her hair, in his mane.
They will ride!
They will ride!
For four happy years they trained for the show ring,
He’d dance and prance while they waited outside.
She’d calm his nerves with heavenly singing,
Over and over the fences they’d fly.
She’d sleep in his stall at the end of the day,
Curled up in his feed bin on top of the hay.
His muzzle beside her breathing sweet breath,
“Patience,” she’d whisper, “Tomorrow
We will ride.
We will ride.”
Early one morning she went to his stall,
Saw that Warrior was down in the straw.
She got him up quickly and walked him around,
But when she released him he went right back down.
She called for help and she called for prayer,
And for three days and nights she nursed him there.
But Warrior was suffering so her mother said,
“Alana, we must let him go . . .”
Where was the God she trusted and loved?
Was there really a Heaven above?
Alana’s young life had been spun around,
Sorrow had taken and spiraled her down.
Her mother cried and called for prayer,
But nothing would ease her child’s despair.
After four long months on one grave night
Alana closed her darkened eyes.
Alana awoke and saw she was standing
On something hard and pretty like gold.
It was a broad avenue lined with great trees
Whose bows sheltered children and angels below.
Alana stood blinking, she must be in Heaven,
Could she have died in the night?
She lifted her tear stained face
And saw the approach of a blazing light!
Jesus came shining and stood by Alana,
He spoke no words, but she heard Him still.
He beckoned and they walked together
Down the avenue, onto a trail to the top of a hill.
Alana saw the stables of Heaven stretched out
As far as her mind could take in!
And horses without number below her!
And Jesus turned to her and said, “You can call him!”
She called out his name and ran down the hill,
He whinnied his answer and to him she raced.
She threw her arms up round his powerful neck,
And he lowered his head in an equine embrace.
She’d never seen him so muzzled,
His coat so brilliant, his eyes so glowed!
She looked at his feet to see how he’d been cared for
And saw that he stood in spun gold!
Alana and Warrior faced the vast meadow
That stretched out forever where the sun never set.
The sweet wind lifted his mane and he whinnied
And pawed at the ground, but she said, “No not yet!”
Alana awoke and she was in her bedroom
Her face as the morning sun beamed!
She woke up her mother, who cried out,
“Alana, what is it? What have you seen?”
And now as the songwriter I should remind you
That all of this story is perfectly true.
I listened with tears to Alana myself
And just as she told me I sing it to you.
If you ask Alana, “Are there horses in Heaven?”
She’ll smile with a light from inside!
She’ll say, “I still miss my Warrior deeply,
But now it is different because I know
We will ride!
We will ride!
We Will Ride!”

As I said above, I think Alana misinterpreted where she was. I do not think this is Heaven, but a glimpse at the New Earth. We know there will be creatures on the New Earth (Isaiah 65:17, 25), but it is unknown if they are in Heaven. We know the Tree of Life is being preserved and will be on the New Earth (Revelation 21:1, 22:1-2), but we have little to no evidence of trees in Heaven.
So, I would say this is not Heaven, but the New Earth. More evidence to this would be the New Jerusalem is 3D (Revelation 21:2, 10-27), not 2D like the world the song describes. I suspect we do not know the physics of Heaven, so how could we imagine it, or describe it?
To answer whether we’ll see our beloved pets again is not answerable. I do know that whatever creatures we find on the New Earth they will be better pals then our old pets were. I look forward to meeting my own personal horse (Revelation 19:14)! Could it be that these horses will be perfectly designed to be each of our best pets? Who knows, but I hope!

HAPPY B-DAY PERCIVAL!!!
A friend of mine has his BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! But I do not think he has a DA account, so I’ll just give this shout out for the sake of celebrating!
However, I had previously decided to get a more than 1-year Promise at least partially fulfilled. Due to the approach of this particular day, and that my own b-day was a few days ago, I uploaded PART ONE of my Revised Dragons in The Bible article! Its in 3-Installments, which can be found linked below!

AmbassadorHerald is Married!!!
On Friday the 13th of March, 2015 I officially got married to the woman I love! It is actually thanks to her that I have been able to focus more on the things I love to do, rather than merely those I need to do. Some of you out there may have noticed that I have recently been able to keep up with comments and such on DA. Now you know why! I am happily married to Tinisha Eisner! It’s been 10 days and things are going strong so far. Just wanted to let you all out here know! Lots of friends on here that I have not seen in years. God bless you all and thank you for your time and please feel free to comment ^.=.^ before you ask she does not
U.S.A. - land of the controlled, home of the proud
On August 3rd, 2011 Dr. Ralph Reed, Founder and Chairman of "Faith & Freedom Coalition", wrote an eight page letter to me and others who have stood with them for America's freedom. Seeing as they are trying to inform as many US citizens as possible for the Presidential Elections in a few months when 2012 arrives, I thought I'd help out by typing some of that letter here. It is free for them, the time being taken by myself to type it up. I have given credit for the information as well. This was my idea alone, though, to post this, they did not put me up to it.
I quote this to you so that you can see that unless we do something soon, our belov
Unicorns in The Bible: answered?
~thaddman (https://www.deviantart.com/thaddman) ~Thaddman asked me a question on March 30th, 2010. Yes, I only recently got it due to my disappearance. Here is his question, to my Gryphon article. Note I made a few edits to grammar.
"I have a question (not involving gryphons but unicorns). I have learned not too long ago that in The Bible (at least the King James Version) it uses the word unicorns. I am sure you have looked into it once or twice. But I was wondering if you think it is just a word to describe an animal or do you think they meant a creature that looked like one? I am not very interested in unicorns but when I heard they were in The Bible I became curious. So

I found a passage in the bible that spoke of God taking our beloved animal's souls to heaven. Did He not make all the birds and beasts? Does He not love all of His creations? I need to believe my Zakary is waiting for me. Our loving God would not deny such precious souls a place in His kingdom.
